Symptoms
Signs of epilepsy typically appear between 1 and 5 years of age. Dogs experience both generalized seizures, which may occur as stiffening or paddling movements followed by a loss of consciousness, and focal seizures, which appear as abnormal movements in one part of the body. Seizures vary in length and frequency.
