Polyneuropathy is a neurological syndrome found in Rottweiler, Black Russian Terrier, and Alaskan Husky dogs. In these breeds, it is caused by a mutation of the RAB3GAP1 gene. The condition is inherited in the autosomal recessive fashion, meaning both parents must be carriers in order for a litter to risk developing the condition.
